I found this organizational tip on the internet somewhere years ago, used it with success.
I've set up the following folders in my email client: action, archive, hold, respond, waiting. A couple of time a day I manage my email, moving items from my inbox to these folders. I usually have an empty inbox.

Well, I had fallen off the wagon over the last several weeks allowing my inbox to return to its historical storage of old email role.

Jist this week, however, I cleansed my inbox - which felt really empowering. I moved those items that i need to take action in to an @Actions folder. Now, I need to work through that folder sorting active messages and eliminating old, obsolete ones.
